This blog is a small attempt at capturing the comings and goings of my life. It is the opinion and thoughts of me and me alone and does not represent the opinions of the Peace Corps or the U.S. government.

Packing

The information for my staging came yesterday. In just a few weeks I will be on my way to Philadelphia then after three days of staging it will be onwards to Kyrgyzstan. One would think that having recently graduated and not having to look for a job would equal me doing a lot of nothing-wrong. I have been busy nearly every day. I have been buying absurd amounts of stuff from hiking boots to power converters to everything in between. Yesterday I spent 75 dollars on underwear, a first for me. Not to mention every day I ponder how exactly I will be fitting two years worth of crap into two bags weighing less than 100 pounds. Though my packing dilemna isn't as bad as it seems I think it is my first problem solving situation related to the Peace Corps. I guess thats all I really have. If anybody knows how to make blogs look cooler than mine currently does please help me. I have attached a somewhat amusing picturing of what I consider packing...
